BBQ Chex Mix

Something about chex mix always seems to satisfy my hunger when I'm in the mood for a good snack. So I decided to make a batch of my bbq chex mix!

Start by melting 1/4 cup butter in a glass bowl
Then add 3 tablespoons of bbq sauce... I used a sauce with a bite just to add a kick to the mix
2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce...
2 tablespoons of light corn syrup...
1 envelope of ranch dressing mix (1 ounce)
1 tablespoon smoked paprika...
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard... whisk is all together
In a large roasting pan, add in 4 cups corn chex cereal...
4 cups rice chex cereal...
3 cups cheese its...
3 cups wheat thins...
3 cups pretzels.... give it a stir with your hands.
Now drizzle the mixture all over the top of the roasting pan...
Using a spatula or your hands mix it all together. This takes a few minutes but you really want to coat all the crackers and cereal! Put into a 250 degree oven for an hour and 15 minutes stirring the mix every 15 minutes. Once done, pull out of the oven and let cool completely before putting in a seal tight container. Enjoy! (Once the mixture had cooled I added in half a jar of honey roasted peanuts to add in a little sweetness)
