Creamy Pesto with Noodles

I was really in the mood for some pasta but wasn't feeling the red sauce. So instead I decided to make some fresh pesto sauce and then make it creamy and delicious and toss it with some macaroni noodles. Hit the spot and was absolutely delicious!
Start by adding 3/4 cup chopped basil into the food processor...
Then shred about 1/2 cup fresh parmesan cheese...
Add the cheese to the food processor with 3 tablespoons of pine nuts...
Throw in three whole peeled garlic cloves...
Cracked black pepper and sea salt to taste...
Now for the fun part... haha... add in about 1/3 cup olive oil or so until it is to the texture of pesto sauce. Thicker than tomato sauce but thin enough to spread
Throw your noodles into the boiling water, I used macaroni noodles...
Once the pesto is ready add 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter to a medium heat pan...
1/2 cup heavy cream...
Scrape in the pesto sauce...
And finally an additional 1/4 cup of parmesean cheese if you want it really cheesy!
Drain your noodles and toss in with your sauce... Sprinkle on fresh parmesean for garnish! ENJOY!
