Ham & Cheese Egg Noodles

It's no surprise that I love mac and cheese. I've remade it a million different ways. Maybe not a million... But a lot. Tonight I went way outside of the box and took a lot Italian flavor and threw it into an amazing cheesey noodle dish. Enjoy!!

Start out by preheating your oven to 450 degrees. The butter a rectangular baking dish.
Then in a large mixing bowl, add 2 cups of heavy cream.
Along with 2 1/2 cups of whole milk.
2 teaspoons flour.
1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper.
And finally 1/2 teaspoon sea salt. Whisk together and set aside.
In a pot of boiling salted water, add in 12 ounces of egg noodles. Cook for 5 minutes stirring frequently.
Grate 1 cup of fontina cheese. Add to milk mixture.
Grate 1/2 cup of parmesean cheese. Add to milk mixture.
And finally grate 1/2 cup of mozzarella. Add to milk mixture.
Whisk together.
Drain noodles and do not rinse.
Dice two pieces of 1/4 inch thick cooked ham. Mix into cheese mixture.
Finally add in the noodles.
Pour into the baking dish.
The last step!!! Is your mouth watering yet? Mine is! Grate 1/2 cup of fontina, 1/4 cup parmesean, and 1/4 cup of mozzarella. Mix together and sprinkle on top. Place in the oven for 10-20 minutes or until the cheese on top is golden brown. Enjoy!!
