Flank Steak with Sautéed Shallots

Day two on the island and we dicided to stay in and grill up some flank steaks filled with flavor! Enjoy!

Chop up 3-4 shallots
Throw them in the sauté pan with extra virgin olive oil
Once the onions are translucent add in 1 cup of red wine
After the wine has reduced by 1/2 add in 1 cup of beef broth
Once that has reduced by half crack in some black pepper
Along with some sea salt. Turn to low
Put the flank steak on a pan and drizzle with olive oil
Crack on some sea salt
And finally crack on some black pepper
Throw it onto the grill
When it's done to your liking place in a tent of tin foil for 5 minutes.
To finish the sauce add in 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter. Slice the steak and spoon on the sauce. Enjoy!
